The Association was a guest speaker at the 2012 Eco-tourism Conference, this year’s theme was “Integrating ecotourism best practices for the modern traveler”.

The conference drew speakers from private sector, government organizations, academic institutions and researchers from the tourism sector, who presented and discussed pertinent topics in contemporary and prospective ecotourism issues, focusing on strategies, experiences and techniques.

The conference provided an excellent opportunity for tourism stakeholders to share views on promoting sustainable tourism in Kenya, and create an opportunity for networking, collaboration, sharing of information and the building of trustworthy relationships.
