The Association was a participant at the  Coast Hospice annual charity walk held in September. The event was attended by approximately 1500 participants from various schools, corporate organizations in Mombasa and its environments. The  event raised over Kshs. 2,500,000. KAHC is a major sponsor of the activities of the Coast and Nairobi Hospice and the two organizations are the major beneficiaries of the KAHC annual symposium and charity golf tournament
