The Coast Secretariat was a participant at the FKE Seminar on HIV& AIDS, held at the Castle Royal  Hotel, Mombasa.

At the forum there was a formation of a network called CHEP Network which is envisioned to perform the following roles:

1.       To reduce HIV PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT infection rate through creating awareness and encouraging infected employees and the surrounding community to live positively.

2.       To coordinate HIV PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT awareness and support activities within the CHEP network.

3.       To incorporate and share the most effective practices.

4.       To increase psycho social support for those affected by HIV-AIDS

5.       To incorporate stakeholders in the fight against HIV-AIDS.
