KTB has been voted Africa’s leading Tourism Board 2012 in the Africa Category, in the World Tourism Awards 2012. Kenya’s coveted position came after a hotly contested voting by travel agents across the globe which has been going on for the last one year and culminated into the 19th World Tourism Awards in UK.

The award places the country in the limelight as a tourist destination having beaten South Africa to the fourth position. South Africa has been topping for the last four years. Other African countries which competed include: Egypt, Namibia, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco among others.

We take this opportunity to congratulate KTB for this great achievement which will go a long way in promoting and marketing the Tourism Industry.

We wish KTB all the best as they prepare to contest for the World Travel Awards Grand Final which will take place at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, Delhi on 12th December 2012.
