H.E Meles Zenawi, Prime Minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia made an official visit to Kenya from 1st – 2nd March 2012. Among the highlights of his visit was a Kenya /Ethiopia Business Forum which was aimed at bilateral consultations with Kenya’s business community on mutual matters of business and trade relations.

The consultative meetings will provide a platform for high level interactions, develop an agreed outline of areas that require intervention by both Governments and possibly come up with time bound action plans for resolving existing trade barriers including mitigating trade balance between the two countries.

The CEO and National Chairman represented the membership at a state banquet held in honor of H.E Meles Zenawi, Prime Minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia by the President, Hon. Mwai Kibaki at the Intercontinental Hotel.
