In the month the Association participated in a food additive awareness forum sponsored by COFEK (Consumer Federation of Kenya).

The forum was premised on the fact that food additives have been used for centuries, and considerable controversy had arisen on the potential threats and possible benefits of the additives.

The meeting saw the participation of stakeholders from Government, private sector, institution of higher learning, nutritionists among others to chart a way forward on this products that have been used by mankind for centuries.
