The expo took place on : 28th Sep-30th September at KICC, a large group of travel agents, tour operators and trade media from Kenya's tourist source markets participated in the event. The expo provided a platform for participants to interact with the trade and consumers with trade meetings scheduled to take place on 28th and 29th while the consumer day slotted for 30th.
The international participants participated in familiarization trips across the country to sample the diverse tourism products that Kenya has to offer upon their arrival on 22nd September. It was also an opportunity for the visiting trade members to gain better understanding of Kenya’s diverse tourism products enabling them to sell the country better.
The expo also provided a networking platform between the Kenyan trade and those oversees and hence strengthened their marketing efforts and strategies.
