ADVOCACY COMPETENCE COURSE

The training was held at Sarova Whitesand Beach Resort  in the month of June. The course aimed at equipping BMO’s with necessary skills and knowledge to engage in advocacy so as to better represent their respective members. Individual business persons and members of BMO’s were also informed of what they should expect in terms of services from their BMO’S and their role as members.

Participants learnt how to Identify and understanding issues, developing responses & proposals, influencing policy makers and how to make follow ups.

The team were also informed of the requirements of a competent advocacy which are: research, influencing skills, communication & public relation.
