Our National Vice Chairman, Board Member, Mugo Maringa and the KAHC CEO attended the meeting which gave a briefing of the immediate and future plans of the county government. We gave our input as stakeholders and a committee was formed to advance the talks. The major item was the implementation of the Mara Management Plan which the Governor is very keen on. Other areas discussed were the upgrading of roads and enforcement of park rules (e.g. off-road game viewing). We left feeling that the new county government will act for the good of the Mara.
