The Association was invited as a guest by Technical Vocational Educational and Training Authority (TVETA) at the above conference held in Nairobi. UNESCO — UNEVOC with the support of the German Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB) and the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is implementing a project referred to as the Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) which is aimed at bridging global knowledge in TVET in Europe, Asia -Pacific and Africa.
The project holds global biannual events on rotational basis and Kenya was hosting this year’s event for Africa The theme for this year’s event was “Going green and digital: TVET for hospitality and tourism”. The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) is one of the five UNESCO — UNEVOC Network members in the country.
