The Association was a sponsor and participant at the 15th Edition of the Ecowarrior Award. The awards were born out of the desire to inspire the Kenyan Tourism industry towards responsible practices, the honor of the award appreciates those who benefit the environment, and local communities while conducting tourism business ethically. The theme for this year was : ‘Rethinking Tourism: Celebrating Changemakers’.  The Chief Guest at the event was Dr. Paula Kahumbu, Chief Executive Officer.
