The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) is a state corporation established under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Act 2013. The core mandate of the Authority is to coordinate and regulate TVET Sector to ensure quality and relevant training. In line with the TVET Act on establishment of standards and benchmarks for training, TVETA, through the support of NUFFIC funded Orange Knowledge Program (OKP) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) invited the Association to participate in the process of developing guidelines and standards that prescribe requirements for conducting quality industrial attachments in TVET institutions.
