The prevailing terrorism threat situation in Sub-Saharan Africa has seen an increase in the prevention efforts and resources on the same. Kenya has been at the forefront of preventing and countering violent extremism through various approaches. Different actors are using diverse frameworks for measurement, assessment and learning. To this end, National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) in collaboration with the European Union held a conference with the theme “Increasing the impact of terrorism prevention initiatives through measurement, assessment and learning.”
