The Association participated in a stakeholders forum organised by the National Museum of Kenya, where the marketing of cultural tourism was discussed.
 
The Management of Fort Jesus is trying to tap into this form of tourism and is urging the tourism players to take advantage of the low rates that it is offering to the locals in order to grow cultural tourism in Kenya.
