The Association was among other stakeholder who met under the tourism network forum organized by KTF. Members in the Coast region identified Beach Management, cost of doing business influenced by VAT and county taxation laws, destination marketing, need to establish a standalone Ministry of Tourism and the need to implement the Wildlife Act as some of the critical issue to be presented at the forth coming Governor’s summit. There is need to harmonize taxation laws among counties and counties to come up with beach management laws to be enacted by counties in the region.
