NACADA invited the Association to a validation workshop in Naivasha to discuss the alcoholic drinks control (amendment) bill 2013 before the senate. Together with the amendment bill, the team discussed the county alcoholic drinks control model law that will be replicated in the counties. We hope to achieve a lot of the implementation challenges addressed through the amendment bill and other clauses we have been lobbying against rectified in the process of amending the parent act. We shall share with you the draft amendments for your input once the final compilation is completed.
