KAHC and other tourism stakeholders engaged the Mombasa County Government on the proposed alcohol bill 2013 for the county where controversial clauses were discussed A memorandum with industry concerns has since been received by the county government. It is hoped to have this enacted before February, 2014 and that the implementation challenges in the parent alcohol Act, will be sorted through the county legislation that takes cognizance of the local economic concerns.
