The Kenya Association of Hotelkeeper's and Caterers has donated Kes. 150,000 to the Nairobi Hospice. The donation is part of the association's corporate social responsibility to the society. The cheque was presented to the Nairobi Hospice after a golf tourney at the Karen Golf and Country Club in Nairobi.

The cheque was presented by Mike Macharia, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the KAHC and Leah Ng'ang'a, the Administration Officer at the KAHC to Dr. Phillip Ransley.
