The African Hotel Investment Forum was held on 24th -25th September 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi. The event was officially opened by the Cabinet Secretary, EAC, Commerce and Tourism-Ms.Phyllis Kandie. The event was well attended with over 200 participants attending.
Some of the hotel chains in attendance were: Hilton Worldwide, Wyndham Hotels, Accor, Lornho Hotels, Kempinski Hotels, IHG, Star Wood Hotels and Resorts, Redizor Hotel Group, Marriot International Inc, Movenpick Hotels and Resorts, City Blue Hotels among others.
