The association organized a media breakfast meeting with NACADA to deliberate on the industry concerns over the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act. This followed the dismissal of the amendment bill by the 10^th parliament before its dissolution, and that had a lot of input from the industry.

During the breakfast meeting, various ways were explored of how to go about and address the industry concerns on the provisions in the Act and the rules and regulations. The Association will continue to lobby for the amendments to the law.
