Members of KAHC joined other stakeholders for a Stakeholders Forum at Nyali Beach Hotel on 19th June, 2013 and the Cocktail to welcome the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Mrs. Phylis Kandie at Mombasa Beach Hotel on 25th June, 2013. The Cabinet  secretary promised to work together with all players in making Mombasa County the best tourism destination brand both in Kenya and internationally.

Prior to this, another cocktail had been organized in Nairobi immediately after her appointment.
