Kenya Association of Hotel Keepers and Caterers (KAHC) and KUDHEIHA will be carrying out a job evaluation exercise for union sable staff of its members. The exercise will involve the following:

(i)         Studying and evaluating existing jobs in the hotel industry and make appropriate recommendations;

(ii)    Examining and reviewing current job descriptions and specifications;

(iii)   Reviewing job grading and classification; and

(iv)  Analysing of the remuneration structure for union sable staff.

VAS Consultants Ltd through a competitive process was contracted to conduct the job evaluation exercise and collect data in the months of June and July 2013.

Through a scientific sampling system, members were identified to participate in this activity that will help as to enrich our CBA and make it relevant to the current Hospitality industry job market.
