KAHC partnered with MCTA, Ministry of Tourism, KTB and other Associations in the Mombasa Swahili Cultural Festival held from 12^th to 15^th December.

 The theme of the event was: “Towards peaceful co-existence through culture to promote Tourism”

 The purpose of the Cultural Festival is to:

• Show case the cultures of Swahili people through dances, arts, dances, sports & games.
• To promote local skills & crafts amongst the youth and members of the community.
• To establish strong linkages between the Swahili community and the foreigners, stakeholders and corporate.
• To promote dialogue between cultures and civilizations
• To enhance and promote tourism as the backbone of Kenyan economy. Among others.
