The secretariat attended a one day workshop on the amendment of the DOSHS training curriculum for work place safety and health committees, to introduce a component on smoke free workplaces and develop a manual to be used for training safety and health (enforcement) officers countrywide on relevant legal provisions.

The aim of the project is to advance implementation of section 33(2) (a) of the tobacco control act towards 100% smoke free work places throughout Kenya.
